I couldn't sleep, so.....

I woke up pretty early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I decided to apply for a Discover card because..... I don't have one. Lol!

Well, I've got one now and it has an $8,000 SL.

I wish the SL were higher, but I'll take it!

Thanks for sharing that link, Austinguy! I remember seeing it earlier and was hoping to find it again to use as my unofficial guide for growing the SL on my card.

While I do appreciate telling us you could'nt get back to sleep and that you applied because you don't have one. That's not helpful.

But relevant data points would help people that " don't have one".

Congrats, that's actually a pretty high SL for Discover. I haven't seen many higher.

Sorry I didn't get back earlier with my data points! It looks like they pulled experian and that score is at 799 with 2% utilization. My oldest account is 30 years, but my current AAoA is 9 years and I now have 3 hard pulls. ( several other hard pulls fell off recently.)

I applied for a discover card several years ago and was turned down. I honestly don't remember what the reason was, but it hurt my feelings and I didn't try again until this week. LOL!

Congrats on getting approved for a Discover card! Don't forget it's double cash back during your first year.
