Capital one Sony approved!

Only $500 limit, now my questions: is this eligible for credit steps? And second, I thought capital one won't allow another card within 6 months ? I got my quicksilver On October 24, 2016 and was gonna try for another capital one next month ..haven't even gotten my credit steps yet

Their co branded cards are not part of their 6 mth rule , I'm not sure if they even offer Credit Steps on the co brands or what

Yes Kobe as long as it's been 6 mths since your last one then you won't have any issues

I was approved for the Capital One Platinum and Capital One Quicksilver minutes apart in April 2016. I applied for the Capital One Sony in June 2016. All 3 cards are eligible for the credit steps program. I applied for a CLI (soft pull) after the 3rd statement per the advice of a few myFICO members and received an increase for each card. Credit steps kicked in the day the 7th statement printed automatically on each card. My Sony card started at $750 and is currently $1350. My CLI's at the 3 month mark for the Platinum and Quicksilver were much higher than my Sony Capital One. I know of a few members who received higher increases than myself at the 3 month mark. Some even received a higher amount for credit steps. I guess it all depends on your usage and credit history. All in all, you'll receive the credit steps increase if nothing else.
