I knew that going into it though. I've never really investigated how easy they are to deal with after a few months of usage with CLI and lower APRs. Guess I'll find out in July 2018.

I like to have a 0% APR card for new purchases and my other ones had already gone beyond their dates (will be getting canceled soon). I've been pre-approved for this card online with a 0% APR for balance transfers for 18 months and 13.49% APR for purchases. I received a letter today for 0% APR and 0% APR on purchases for 15 months and then 22% APR afterwards. So, since I really have one purpose in mind I chose the mail offer knowing that Citi is stingy with their SL and this would be just for small miscellaneous purchases. True to form Citi gave me a phone number to call to let me know if I was approved or not. About 2 minutes later I was told congratulations, I'm approved for $3,900 SL. I asked if I can talk to someone tonight to discuss increasing it but was told I have to wait to have card in hand. If that means another HP, then forget it, but if anyone has different information about a recon on the SL, please comment below.

I've had a very rocky relationship with Citi Doube Cash almost 2 years ago when they flat out turned me down for too many INQs. They pulled EX and EQ back then. I now have 0 INQ in the past year with EQ and 2 on EX so was surprised it was not an instant approval. After 15 months I'll see about lowering that APR.

Likely you know this, Citi Double Cash is known for small starting CLs ... yours is better than many on here. That said, Ficoer's are a tough group and have had luck with significant CLIs but seems they were HPs. Other posters will weigh in and give you direct input.
