Just received an email from Citi notifying me that they have raised my limit from 5500 to 8200. A little background, I was approved online 5 1/2 months ago with the starting limit of 5500. I have been keeping an eye on the calendar for my 6 month anniversary so I could see if a soft pull CLI request was available but Citi beat me to it lol.

Wow, Citi must like you. Thats a huge cli in terms of Citi, and auto nonetheless Enjoy it, now comes another 6 month wait

Yea i definitely wasn't expecting it. I read a ton on here and I was fully prepared for Citi to be stubborn with CLI's. Another interesting thing that I forgot to mention or post is my Citi Expedia card. Since I was approved for the Costco, I decided to give the Expedia a shot since I was planning a Florida trip and went through Expedia last time I traveled, I was approved for a 3500 SL about 3 months ago. A couple weeks ago for kicks, I decided to see if my Costco card was ready to give me the soft pull language and accidentally brought up the Expedia account, which indicated no hard pull. Upon hitting the submit button with no expectations of a CLI that soon, they bumped me up to my Coscto CL of 5500. So 3 years into a start over rebuild, with tons of help from the information on this forum, I guess Citi likes something about me this time around lol.

Good info. I use the heck out of my Costco, especially for dining out @ 3%.

My SL was $4000 in January. Hoping for the SP 6 month increase to help with UTL.

I'm taking advantage of the 7 month no interest on purchases to get a feel for exactly what I want to put on it.

Making $500-$1000 payments monthly.

I have also been carrying a slight balance for most of the promo period, and also use it a ton for dining. Of course I use it weekly at Costco as well. Hopefully you get a similar increase in a couple months. Good luck!
