CHASE hates me, and that's ok...

I apped for the chase Amazon Visa and I got the 30 day notice! Honestly, I'm done trying with Chase. If they don't want MY business, I don't want them!

No more Chase apps for me!

I apped for Amazon store card by Synch, instant approval for $3,500! Placed a $1,100 order for patio furniture!

Parties at my house! BbQ and of course wine are on me!!

Congrats! I love my Synch Amazon card. The biggest advantage of Synch's card are the 0% offers. I've gotten a laptop, TV, and more with that! The Chase card is good, but not enough I'd want to jump ship LOL.

Interesting...

Seems that quite a few people with the Amazon store card really prefer it over the Chase Amazon Visa. I never would have imagined this.

The Synch version does seem to have better benefits, 5% cash back and 0% financing as compared to Chases version.

In all actuality, I was looking for an Amazon card because I was going to make a large purchase. I apped for Chase first because I thought that could be my "in" with Chase, and not so much because of the benefits.

In retrospect, I'm happy with my Amazon-Synch card. I'm hoping I can make this puppy grow to close to 10k!

Congratulations! The Amazon store card is the Bomb Dot Com! I love the 5% rewards. I shop through ebates, so on some purchases I get an extra percent or two or three from them. It's a nice way to shop on Amazon, for sure.

That's exactly why I love it ... that 0% financing is awesome and easy to use. I don't generally stretch the payments out over the entire original length of the promotion, but it's nice to know I can.

Their website also makes the promotional purchase balances very easy to track.

30 day notice from Chase is probably more likely to be an approval than a denial.

But a grill and wine master needs his patio furniture.

True. OP may end up with 2 Amazon cards in the end.

Since I always PIF, the Synchrony version didn't appeal to me personally over the Chase version. I like that the Chase Amazon can be used anywhere as well, not just on Amazon purchases.

I actually have both, I probably use the Prime card more (Sync), but if I thought about it, I'd use the Chase card for charges I PIF and the Sync card for those I was 0% term financing but to tell you the truth I usually just use the amazon prime card since its the default (Sync version). Sync version "stuck" at $8k for the last 2+ years, Chase version is new with a SL of $5k (more than enough in both cases.
