TD First Class Visa Signature Approved! Woot!

I was solicited as pre-approved for the First Class Visa Signature from TD Bank. I wasn't sure if I wanted it, but I figured for the signup incentive, I'd try it.

I opened a TD checking with a whopping $110 balance ($100 to avoid maintenance fees on their convenience checking account).

I haven't received a card yet, nor a notification. I called the number on the 7-10 day screen and verified some information, but no answer back before xmas.

Tonight, while finally setting up my online access for checking, I log on and the card is APPROVED! Only a 5k Limit, but I'll take it!!! Now if only the card would arrive!!

As a TD Bank customer myself, this card looks incredibly interesting, especially because the more and more I research the CSP, the more I feel it would not benefit me (I'm a cheapo and don't mind coach one bit!).

I thought it interesting that during the checking account openinng process, they made a comment that the First Class Visa Signature was not part of the process and if one wanted the First Class Visa Signature, that one had to specifically apply for it.

LOL, well as they say...every card has it's purpose and if you already have a product that has a better advantage or benefits, then there is no need for duplication, especially if it works as intended (without the AF).
