Synchrony Amazon store card approved!

Not sure why I was only approved for$ 2200. But probably good enough for my use.
Every other Synchrony approval has been between 4000 and 10000. Does amazon approval tend to be less?
Been wanting it for promotional offers and do a lot of amazon purchases. Surprised I waited this long to apply.

That is kind of strange based on your profile. I was approved for only $800 few months ago but my scores are way lower than yours.

My tu jumped to 775 yesterday so I figured it was a good time to apply. So a little surprised at the slowish sl.

Can you call in upon activation and ask for a CLI?

That is actually a very good SL for Amazon store card

Just call Credit Solutions and ask for a CL to 10K - they will either decline or counter with a lower amount

If you get denied then try again in a month or 2 of use of card

I went from 800>4000>6000>10,000 - current TU of 777, had card about 6 months

My Sam's and marvel are both at 10000 but wasn't sure of the process with Amazon.

They're all Synchrony bank...CLIs work the same on all of them...

That's not a bad SL for Amazon but as mentioned, just call credit solutions once you activate the card and ask for more. Easy peasy.

Can anyone tell me why they actually give you a physical card? You can only use it at Amazon.
Maybe some states have factory stores? Or am I just crazy old and missing the obvious.🙄😣

Nah not sure, theres been mention of a few brick and mortar but its all good, its nice to have on you to remember your account # and whenever i call CS for cli, i have it on hand if they ask for account. Now Chase Amazon Visa, thats a beaut

Congrats Thor 🎊🎉🍾🎈🐬 you get a card with a magnetic strip. Where it works I don't know. But 5% off and no interest terms for larger purchases makes this a nice card.

Yeh once I get this card to 10000 I'll probably close the Chase Visa. It took combining 2 cards recently to get it even to 5000,have never gotten an increase on it.
Also the Apr is high,no promotional either.only reason I've not closed it is because it's the oldest card I have, now that I upgraded my Wal-Mart card recently to the MasterCard and store card was closed.

Congrats on your approval ( that is the one card that keeps tempting me to leave the garden ).

Also I often wondered the same about my HSN card. Never made sense to me that they actually send you a card. But hey it makes my wallet look fuller ...lol
