NFCU & Amazon CLIs

I was just reading Average Joe's report about his recent CLI with Navy so I decided to give it a shot as well. I got the goRewards card with them back in November because it was offering a sign-on bonus at the time and I also enjoy the 3x on dining that it offers. My initial CL was $6.5k, which I thought was a little low given the limits that NFCU hands out in many cases, but enough for my needs. I'm just past the 6 month mark now so what the heck, did an online CLI request at increased instantly to $22k. Very happy with that limit. Since my initial approval, my old derogs from 2009-2010 have all fallen off so that may be one factor. No HP yet so hopefully it stays that way.

I also went on chat to try to get an increase on my Amazon store card. Last increase was probably a year ago to $6k. I requested $10k and that was instantly approved with no counter. I probably left some limit on the table, but didn't want to push Synchrony too hard given their blue envelope problems. I have just two cards with them (Amazon & Walmart), so not too worried, but I really don't want to risk losing the Amazon card because I use it a lot.

Not bad for about 2 minutes of work!

Yes! Awesome job Happypill. Thats a great increase with Navy. Amazon is a great limit too. I was forever stuck at 6k too on Amazon but finally got it to 10, where its perfectly good now. Nothing beats some sp luv, so keep up the great work
