Not everyone can be in their footprint but looks like you definitely are and the Rewards Card has a variety of categories to choose from.

3x rewards in a category I choose every 3 months. In order to get the card you have to live in their footprint or receive a pre app in the mail.

I just googled it, haha.

Nice card! Those reward category options are fantastic, I definitely will have this on my radar when my FICOs are high enough and my inquiries are low enough.

From the few data points out there it looks like EQ puller only, with 680 being the absolute lowest entry ($500 CL) but some declines at that number, and that approval rates go way up at EQ=720 even with high inquiries.

Ah dang looks like Columbus OH region and expanded from there only! Oh well, great to know it exists for those who are near there.

Edit, DOC says Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania & West Virginia.. I have a condo in Florida, wonder if I can slip in through that in the future.

Thx, Yeah, they bought out another bank that was local and that slipped me into their footprint.

Hmm curious, I looked them up and it appears they have 2 branches within walking distance of my Illinois home -- wonder if their credit footprint includes that? They also have 3 branches within walking distance of my grocery stores. Odd that I never heard of them before or even noticed them. I think I've seen one near a Walmart and I thought it was Huntington learning center, haha.

If they have branches in your area you are eligible for their products including their CCs.

I've never heard of them, other than on this site, and when you mentioned Illinois, I thought I'd look them up. Lo and behold, there's one a couple of blocks from where I work! I guess I'm in their footprint...Lol

Surprised me as well! I'm going to walk over there this week and see what it takes to get a banking bonus. I have some cash sitting in a bank account I opened months ago that needs to go somewhere else for a bonus and might as well start a relationship with them and see if it helps in the future. That 3% category card looks really nice!

I'm in the same boat, so if they do, please update us. I was going to move the money over to US Bank for their bonus, but I forgot and I don't know what I did with the flyer. I'm sure I'll get another soon enough.

Hi...I'm in Illinois. First Merit and Huntington merged either last year or earlier this year. I picked up two of their cards this year. I believe the branches you are seeing used to be First Merit branches....

Well gdale6, you beat me to it. Down to only (1) on EQ here and that wouldn't even been there had i not teased around with Citicards.

(1) left on EX too but NFCU tapped good ole TU for a new INQ last month and that's been the hardest one to shed leftover INQ's on this end. CRA says 11 (within 2 years) but in reality and for FICO Scoring purposes there's only (2) left on it courtesy BofA + NFCU

I read this post and decided to app for the Huntington APR card. I've had the Reward card for a year with a SL of $1k. 2 wks ago I appd on the phone for CLI and i was approved to bump the CL to $10k.

A few minutes ago I appd for the APR card online and instant approved for $10k SL.

I've banked with Huntington for about 5 years although I've only had checking acct with a typical balance of around $1000.

I don't know who they pulled, nothing has shown up yet on MYFICO. Util is 4% with 8 INQ (12 months) total avail is $90k

Wow, from $1k to $10k, very nice. Congrats on your approval too. I'm tempted, the rewards category are nice, but wasn't really planning on apping for anything so holding off right now.
