Suntrust Cash Rewards approved!

I finally caved on the emailer preapprovals I have recieved nearly once a month from Suntrust all year long. I have a checking account that I never really use with them.

The APR is 16.24 and SL $9200. Suntrust being very conservative from what I've read has held me off applying. I guess they're not quite as conservative as I thought. lol

This was an instant approval. 15 months 0% interest with 5% cash back on Gas and Groceries for the first $6,000 within a year, may just come in handy!

Congrats! Is there a signup bonus on this card? Also, just make the height/width of the cards in your signature smaller. That should allow you to fit some more in there.

Thanks! No sign up bonus on this particular card. The Travel rewards has a $250 bonus if I'm not mistaken. The low APR card they offer may as well. I can't remember.

lol me too that's the reason why I have not put my cards on my screen lol because it's not fair to have not ALL of my babies (cards) on lol I love EVERYONE of them lol including my subprime cards and yes FINGERHUT lol but my limit is $4747.00 yes 4747 lol and been part of my profile for over 5 years

Congrats on the Approval Gmood! I've looked at Sun Trust before but never took the plunge. I've been going back and forth on the 5/3 Trio or Truly Simple, been seeing more posts about them recently and some have had pretty good success right out of the gate...i digress lol Congrats!!

I have a Suntrust branch less than 2 miles from me but we used to have alot of them but Regions bought them out. I was supprise to see it one day because I really thought they were bought out 100000000%

Thanks CIC! I know what you mean. I've went back in forth for the last nine months! I would get right up to submitting the application and then withdraw. SunTrust has sent me a "Can we help you apply" email several times. It states they noticed I began to apply but didn't finish and if I'm having trouble to contact them. Lol
The trouble wasn't their website, but my app finger.

As far as I know, they have never been bought out. I used to have an account with them roughly 15 years ago. I closed it out and never looked back. I only joined to get a checking account bonus. Ha ha

I had no idea they would start sending me preapprovals. They are aggressive about getting their cards in people's hands. The approval notice and the email I received state they know you have many choices but glad you chose them.

I get that ALL of the time for example on my penfed I started a cli ap and at the last page wanting me a be ok with a HP. I just x out lol. I do it all of the time lol
