Barclaycard CashForward Approved 25K! Riddance BBVA!

Was initially looking for a card with a good BT offer. Was approved last month for BBVA ClearPoints Visa with 6K CL and 18.99% APR. Wasn't too happy about the CL, as I needed to transfer over about that amount from another card. No recon for CLI with BBVA. Hard pull only. After many headaches with BBVA, I decided to divorce them and apply for the Barclaycard CashForward World MC. I got the "Under Review" message and immediately called the recon number. Nice guy mentioned that it was an auto decline due to an old card that was IIB back in 2012(Soft pull only). I told the kind rep that I currently have a Barclaycard Ring Mastercard with 15K CL. He did notice that and asked if I'd like a reconsideration(Required hard pull). He asked about the BK(Standard procedure). I explained. He was very understanding, and complimented me on my excellent credit recovery. He put me on hold, came back and approvd me for 6K. I explained that I needed at least 10K, since I was transferring over close to 6K. He approved for 10K. I then asked if he could transfer over CL from ring, and he also had no problem with that. I closed my Ring card, as it served its purpose with a large BT when I first opened it last year. I really wanted a card with a good rewards structure, and the $200 sign up bonus and 15 months 0% APR BT and purchases is the icing on the cake! Thank you Barclays! They have always come through for me!

Congratulations on your new card and CLI. And also congrats on the Product Change auth, as well. Glad to hear Barclays has been good to you. Enjoy your new card. I wonder if Chase can do a PC like this. I'd love to turn all 5 of my Chase cards into one.

Compliment you on a super productive recon with them to form just the right level you was looking for at the time.

Smart move in making that request while on the line with them on the moving limits too.

Thank you! Actually, it was not a product change. I cold apped for the CashForward card, and then had my Ring CL moved over increasing newCl to 25K . Closed Ring card.

@Thank you! The QS was a Venture @ 30K, which I combined with QS @ 20K. Total Cl became 50k!
