AmEx Delta Gold Approval!

Hey guys, I know I'm new here but I had to make an account to give you guys a DP for this one. I've been reading your forums for the last year and they've been a huge help in rebuilding my credit (started in the 480 range)

Today, for **bleep**s and giggles I decided to check all the pre-approval pages just to see what was out there and I actually had an offer for the Delta Gold card. This was the only offer they had for me so I wonder if this is the easiest one to get. I don't fly often and not usually with Delta but I thought it would be a good way to get in with AmEx and they had a pretty good welcome offer that will hopefully get me a good way towards a flight!

So, seeing as I was pre-qualified with a solid interest rate and not a range (16.74%) I decided to pull the trigger and I got instantly approved for a $1000 limit!

My current cards are: Cap1 QS1 ($400 although a CLI is due next month for credit steps), Credit One Bank ($500), TotalVisaCard ($550), VS store card($350), Express card ($250) and J Crew card ($250)

My credit scores are Experian: 632 (FICO), TU: 602 (VS) and EF: 598 (VS)

I have one collection account reporting on Experian and TransUnion that I'm paying down as well as one 60 day late payment from two years ago.

Anyway, I'm pumped about this approval as it's my highest limit and with a "Real" bank. I just want to express my gratitude for all your help even when you didn't know you were helping me!
