Discover Approval No Hard Pull?

Went on a bit of an app spree two days ago.

Discover It $9000 SL

Chase Sapphire Preffered $12000 SL

Citi Double Cash $4300 SL

Chase and CIti both reported the inquiry almost instantly, I still havent had a pull from Discover. Do they take awhile to pull?

I wonder if you were pre-approved. After the revamped pre-approval page many of us were able to get cards without a HP. It was my 2nd one and it's been a few weeks and no HP. And it is reporting already. I figured it was like AMEX where additional accounts are SPs. But if this is your first one then maybe being pre-approved = SP. Enjoy the SP cause Chase probably double pulled you. Congrats on your spree.

I went through the pre approval screen and after pre qualified I applied. This is my first discover card. Figured I would reply to this with some data points. Chase hasn’t double pulled yet but they hit my EX and TU on the pull. Citi so far has only hit experian.

I have to be honest with my scores I wasn’t expecting that. My boss has kind of become my credit mentor and he was pushing me to get a few cards to offset the negatives on my report. I figured discover would be an approval but not at that limit and was very surprised I was approved at all for the sapphire. The double cash was icing on the cake for the day. Now I’m in the garden until spring and then I’m mortgage shopping.

Very impressive haul based off your current scores. For reference, I got my Discover IT card 2 months ago and they did a hard pull on Experian. I was pre-approved with a fixed APR, etc. My EX score was 814. No derogs on my credit report. High AAoA. I think the only thing that impacted me - perhaps - was my combined revolving credit limits at the time of app were 17K+. My SL was 6K. Consider yourself very lucky for the limit - and if no HP ever materializes.

My Discover Inquiry showed up instantly on Credit Karma. I didn't go through a pre-qualify link..I went through a referral link whe I finally applied.

Belated congrats. New here and this is my first post so I am a wee bit late to the topic.

I went thru the prequalify page and was pre-approved for both the it and it chrome card. I applied and was approved with a 1600.00 sl.

It has currently been two weeks and am not seeing any hard pull.

Discover reports tu fico 8-712...ex fico 8-648. Wells Fargo ex fico 9-653.
