Which Credit Card to apply for ?

I applied for Chase Freedom last night an received the dreaded 7-10 day wait message. I contacted recon and was accepter for 1.5k ( low I know). My TU is only 670 so I doubt I'll be able to get much else at this point. Are there any other cards out there that would be worth applying for that would have a better chance of giving a higher CL?

AAoA ... not sure

Length of credit history 2yr 11 months ( according to creditkarma)

Only other card I have is a corporate business card from work.

Have a mortgage ~975 a month through wells fargo and a car loan I owe ~22,500

Salary 80k

Age: 25

Edit: Have missed payment from Kia Finance ( from a year ago) that I'm currently disputing beacuse they had my auto-pay messed up.

The only score I know is TU-670. No baddies/ negatives on work credit card. I'd really like a travel card as I have my wedding and honeymoon in March. It'd be nice to get some return on the money I'm going to spend anyways.

Arrival is a good travel card and your TU score along with no baddies is certainly a plus

Amex PRG is also something you may consider depending on your spending habits but you'll need to know your EX score

Dont believe that you are limited. I am about to post my spree. My TU is 671 and I got approved for

Costco amex

discover IT

Barclay arrivals.

1200-1500 range

Yes that score is from CK.

CK is a fako so that score really doesnt mean anything. I would suggeset going on barclaycard website for the pre qual and see if you have any offers. IF you do I would take the card cause that way you can get your free fico score. Always consider other things but a free fico score is a great assest consdering how much myfico charges for your score.

Well I came back to thread and saw your responses after I went ahead and applied for CSP. I received instant approval for 5k. It doesn't make any sense to me since I only got 1.5k for Freedom yesterday after recon

+1. I was going to say to apply for the BankAmericard Travel Rewards as you get 1.5 per $1 spent. Great card as it has no annual, no FTF and good for all arounf cards when you dont have rotating categories to go to (or maxed them out). They even have a promo for $100 if you spend 750 (used to be 550). Also I would say to apply for the AMEX BCE for the all around balance to your freedom.

Should I wait 6 months or so to try for any of those other cards or should I try now?
