Have know about this form for about one year. Never posted. Applied online and was approved 10 minutes later. Figured if anyone has questions about the card and application process, I can try my best to answer.

I’d definitely look into the bonus offer because there’ll be a corresponding spend requirement.

Also, I’m sure others will ask about some data points such as score, average age of accounts, etc..

Had two other amex cards since 2003. Unless you mean specifically the platinum card.

Finding out your bonus offer is super important with Amex because unless targeted, offers can only be given once on each card.

congrats! I love my Platinum and will probably hold on to it forever unless I end up moving away from a Delta hub. When I did the math for my own situation, it at least breaks even if I take 1 trip per year, and ideally I travel internationally at least once, and within the states 2-4 times per year so it has been a no-brainer.

Has anybody been able to get the 100k sub offer recently? I’ve been trying for months to get it even asked on chat, chat guy did recommend to wait for it and offered me 5k points for up to 4 au on my prg card, am planning on some travel in the spring and wanted to get the card and sub but looks like no luck for me, Might just get the Schwab plat for now and keep trying for the other,

100k is hard to get. Some folks get the targeted offers. No public offers.
