I'm very excited as I was just approved for a Delta Gold Amex with a $14k credit limit, despite being an 18 year old without a large credit history. It had a great mileage bonus (60k) and $150 statement credit which is perfect for a lot of upcoming travel I have planned!

Congrats.. I received an offer last December for the gold for 50K miles for 1K spend.

Also got approved today for the Delta Plat for 70K miles offer.

LOL definitely in the points game now..

Did you have a targeted offer? That's a great SUB. I've only seen 50k miles + 10k miles / $50 credit or 50k miles $150 credit. Great job!

Yes, it was a mailer targeted offer.. It was for 50K miles for $1K spending.. Unfortunately no $50 or $100 statement credit. Overall its still good with the 1yr AF waived off.

I just closed my Amex Plat and transferred my left over 30K MR points to Delta and now Approved for the Delta Plat for the 70K miles offer.

Get approved, yes its an HP but getting approved was the goal in the first place.
