FYI Barclay triple pulled me for a Cli

Was debating on closing my Rewards account.

Been stuck @ $1400 foreverrrrr... Then thought I just added a few cards. Wasn't planning on apping for a long time. Also none of the cards I apped for pulled my TU. So I bit the bullet for a HP CLI.

Approved $10k

Thought it was just TU. Just found out they pulled all 3! I'm kinda PISSED now.

I can understand being upset at the triple pull, but on the bright side it's more than a 7x CLI so congrats on that. If you're not applying for anything for a while you should be fine.

There's been previous data points in which they've been known to double-pull, although it's not as common. Unless they've recently changed the CLI (HP) process, this might be something new or just an anomaly.

From looking at your sig, I would have just closed the card.

At least you got a decent CLI, not bad getting it to 10k.

When they hard pulled me for a CLI on my Rewards card last October, I used that same hard pull to get an additional card. Both were approved with the same pull on same day.

But the HUGE issue: apparently the CLI has caused a syntax error in the sig:

I don’t thing that was an error because both are the triple pulls. OP has them sorted by credit pulls now......

Congrats on the 10k limit, getting triple pulled would make me hesitate future apps with them but at least you got something lol.

I had thought about taking a HP to get my Rewards card up to $10K or better--as that's currently my most consistent highest UTL card at 10% (plus my cell phone bill is on it set to auto-pay)...but now that I read this post I'm going to have to investigate this triple-pull thing a LOT further before doing so. DEFINITELY NOT worth 3 HPs to me for a CLI!

Only reason I tried... I had no recent inq or new accounts showing on TU. Thought it would be a single TU pull.
