I had a QS1 and Plat MC I PC’d into a QS, went from $500–$600–$1100–$1200 for the QS1, $500–$600–$1100 for the Plat to QS combined to $2300.

I hit the Luv Button — $3000!

Limit’s now $5300 and it’s the first thing I have that doesn’t feel subprime. Feels good.

Now if only I can get Discover to graduate my 3 1/2 year old secured It. Or get BoA to give some luv.

Congrats on the nice increase on Cap One.

Now about that stubborn discover....

Have you tried the prequal in a bit? It really sounds like your old discover is stuck....... similar to Cap One cards

Also got any recent FICO scores? Interested in your TU score esp re: Discover...

Quite a few folks have had luck apping for a new Disco card.. Also do sign up for discover credit scorecard if you havent....

It’s stuck and will stay that way I’m sure.

No prequal on Discover for a new one.

I have a nearly 5 year old eviction (collections) and a couple 4 1/2 year old late student loan payments. Lost my job, ran out of money, etc etc etc the story’s neither here nor there but I am probably stuck that way until I can finish getting rid of the baddies. It’s just nice to see the forward progress.

Some folks have gotten cards. with preapprovals, with just SP.... (If your trying for this, I highly recommend subscribing to Discovers' Credit Scorecard first)

Some folks have gotten cards, with one HP.....

Though AJC knows the trend on this better than I do... Theres a whole thread on getting a second Disco...

Like Jolt said, alot of people have been getting approved with only an sp though I couldnt enjoy that reward. Me and Disco have a history , had so many hps trying to get my Disco it only seems fitting I'd get another on my second card
