Approved Amex BCP & Chase Marriott

Woke up this morning on day 61 for my Amex Delta, instantly approved for 3X, Applied just now for Amex BCP and Chase Marriott, instantly approved for $8000 & $5000 respectively. I'll take the Marriott at the 5K as Chase's internal scoring just does not like me for some reason. The cash back and rewards were just too good to pass up.

Nice way to start the day!!

EDIT 1/20/14 Just got the call from EO, when I hit the $1K spend on my Marriott card they are going to give me the extra 20K in points up to 70K. Thanks Chase!!

Great timing for apping for another AMEX product. Right after the 3X CLI when you know for sure they like you.

Great timing for apping for another AMEX product. Right after the 3X CLI when you know for sure they like you.

That was my thinking as well.

As for the minimal 5K on the Marriott card, I really don't need a large CL on it, I'll take the 50K signup points and a free night a year as we do stay at Marriotts. The one night will more than pay the AF.

No more apping, got rewards, travel, cash back plus a couple of Amex's MSDs back to 1988, just put 181 days into my google calendar for another 3X

For reference, the last SP by Amex on me was 12/30. Three other SP's dating back to early December, none since though.

I'm sitting here stocked about the 8K considering they only initially gave me 2K on my Delta card back in November. I'm thinking this is going to be my everyday spender. Already signed up for my free Amazon Prime using the temp 3K and BCP credit card number.....but I can't lie, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that black siggy

There is a 70k point offer out there. Pretty sure you can just Google it. I would call Chase and ask for it. Many people have gotten it, even after apping with the 50k offer.

I initially tried applying using the 70K link but got the "this offer has expired" message. I called them today to see if I could get the expedited but it wasn't fully processed. Thanks, I'll call them again tomorow and see if I can talk them into the extra 20K, heck that's another free night!!

Thanks, I already had the Delta and the business gold. I held off apping until I did my 3x this morning on the Delta then appted for the BCP. I felt a little safer after they showed me the 3x love......still always get sweaty palms just prior to submitting...but felt safer Thanks!!

Called this morning, they haven't yet assigned a card number so they can't do anything yet. Since is a co branded card it's going to take a bit longer than the normal Chase card....but as soon as the number is assigned...time for a little sweet talk

Good luck! I saw a link that still worked last night, but I sure can't find it again now... Hopefully they'll just do it for you.
