Bank of American pending Alaska - Update Approved

Hey, this is my third time to apply for an Alaska airlines card. My previous two were automatically denied with a mailer sent. I cold apped and it spun for about sixty seconds and said "pending" with a reference number. I didn't know if that usually means denial as well? I recently received a CLI for the first time on my other BofA card so I figured might as well try.

thanks if anyone has experience

ps- my last two denials were for INQ but I think it was mostly my score at time (high 600s). I haven't had any INQ for 6 months and my score is now 740 (08 FICO)

If it didn't yield an outright decline, then it's likely a verification instance.

You can call their UW department to determine whether they need additional information to complete the processing of your application.

When I applied for their Premium Rewards CC last year, it yielded a pending message as well. I contacted them within a day or so and they were able to get the information verified which yielded an approval.

Hopefully yours ends up with a positive outcome.

I just received an email saying that I have been approved, but it didn’t have the limit.

Do you know if that will eventually show up in my Bank of America online account, or do I wait for the letter to come in the mail to see it?

I think they will add it to your online profile within a few days but it’s been awhile since I had a new card and with them.

It took 1 day for my BankAmericard to be added to my account and 7 days to start reporting to the CRAs
