I noticed PayPal trending on the board and decided to jump on the band wagon. I app'd for the Paypal CC a while back and was denied. Today applied for the MC with Synchrony and received an instant approval for $2000 at the second tier interest rate. I have a few Synchrony cards most are PIF with a small balance on Care Credit (my daughter's braces) which I will pay off before the interest kicks in. Not sure which bureau was used but the app requested my entire SS. I have too many credit cards to list and plan to whittle them down by the end of the year. I'm really bad at gardening... but I need to head right over.

Congratulations on the approval! I just picked this one up myself! $2,600 SL and 2nd teir interest for me as well we have similar profiles, my scores are just a bit above yours and instead of a BK I have defaulted student loans as my baddy, so that must be their go to for people like us lol. I also totally understand the bad at gardening/too many card thing! Made it 3 months before I apped this card so that's something. I'm also in the process of whittling my portfolio of cards down so I know what a struggle that is as well lol. Again congratulations on the approval now time to use the crap out of it, PIF, and hope the Sync CLI train treats is well lol!

Belated congratulations (I just found this thread when looking for information on scores needed for this card) and that makes me hopeful I can get it when I'm ready to in the next month or so (I hope!). I had my own Chapter 7 BK discharged in 12/14, current FICO's: EX 697/7 inquiries, EQ 685/8 inquiries, TU 665/4 inquiries (note that about half these inquiries are 1 year old or more and have stopped affecting the score).
