Barclaycard Rewards Mastercard CLI after denial

Was approved in March 2013 for Barclay Rewards Mastercard with a $750.00 CL. On my 6th statement (September 2013) I recived a $1,300 CLI to $2,050. Received a promo for BT or use one of their checks by March 3, 2014 and the APR would be 9.99% until October. Don't have balances to transfer, so thought I might use one of the checks. Hit the Luv button with the dreaded response that they would let me know and a rep would try to call me. The rep left a cut and dry message that I was denied and to call the number on the back of the card if I needed to contact them. Called the Credit Analyst number for recon..My limit went from $2,050 to $4,000. I am happy with that.

So far I have not had a problem with Barclay. I purchased a new SUV 3 months after getting their card and joined NFCU. Apped for NFCU Cash Rewards Visa Signature and was approved with a $10k CL. So I have had some inquiries. Hopefully, I won't have any problems with them.

IF I use one of the checks, it will be paid off before April.

At the time of the CLI request and approval it was 648, That was on Jan 17th I believe...Funny thing is my Chap 13 fell off of TU today (1 month early) and my score jumped to 698, I received the alert from an email from Barclays.. Had a waited until this coming week, might have gotten more. But I am happy with what I got. Just hope and pray I am not about to get rebucketed. LOL
