US Bank Cash+

Recently approved for US Bank Cash+!

Applied on 7/6.

Yesterday, 7/10 I was hit with a denial email, so I immediately called their recon line. Turns out they just needed a verification.

Checked the automated status line and was approved.

It did not give me a SL or APY over the phone. Any way of checking prior to waiting for the card and literature?

You'll probably have to call to find out SL and APY if you don't want to wait till the letter; congrats on the approval though! Way to stick with it and get that recon to work

I would call now US Bank is known for $500 limits on this card. If this is the case u need to Recon starting limit Asap.

Should I recon this?

That’s what I was considering. At least a tad bit more. I expected 5K since it’s a signature card, but I see US Bank is one of the hardest banks to get lending from. Especially since they don’t specially look at the three major, they also check other bureau.

Called earlier today for a CLI to the initial SL of 4K they gave me.

I requested 8K figured it was resonable. They said I'll hear back from them soon in the mail. .

Side note - Also applied for a BoA Travel Rewards, but that was denied. Not sure how recon friendly BoA is. I had to speak to a rep to push the app through since I froze an agency they wanted to pull - TU and EX.
