Big day!! Chase Freedom and Delta Gold AmEx!!

I'm so excited! Just got off the phone with the CSR -- instant approval for Amex Gold Delta Skymiles card with 4.4k limit!!! I wanted a travel card so bad! I was emboldened to apply after being instantly approved for Chase Freedom for 7k with an online app! Prior to this is only had Capital One cards so this is a big step up in the world. Here are my stats:

EQ 720

EX 711

TU 704

AAOA 7 years

Baddies: two 30 day late payments in 2007, one charge off Verizon account from 2006. I also had AmEx close an account on me in 2006 after I paid off a huge balance with a lump sum (made me look risky which I probably was at the time!)

I hope use above up the food chain with these cards in the next years or so. I'm on my way!!!
