APPROVED!! AMEX BCE and Discover IT

Having a pretty good evening today. I've been waiting to get a car loan out of the way so I could apply for these cards.

Got the car loan out of the way this morning and applied for these two cards just now, both approved!

I don't know my CL yet for the Discover but my CL for the BCE is $2k.

[ edit: called Discover and was approved for a CL of $10k!!! ]

These are my first real cards I've been approved for! I have one card right now with a 1% util and $3k limit from wells fargo. But I only got this one from doing the secured card then graduated to unsecured about a year later.

I was feeling nervous at first on both because the Discover site faulted out when I check the pre-qual page then decided to app anyway. The AMEX site pre-qual'd me for 3 cards I didn't want haha (amex everyday, gold delta miles, and cash magnet) then app'd for BCE and approved.

My credit journey here has been a good one and I've made really great improvement. I now have a new car on the way and two new CC's, I appreciate everyone's help on here!

I took a moment to check your scores. They have been on the rise over

the last 6 months, and you're certainly on a roll right now. Good for you!

Before you know it, you'll be a new member of the FICO 700 Club.

By way of reminder, you can still do an Amex "2 for 1" and get

an Amex Green or PRG on the same hard pull within 30 days

if charge cards interest you. It won't cost you anything credit wise.

UPDATE!: I just called Discover to get the details on my approval, I'm floored! I was approved with a CL of $10,000 !!! I tried to act normal on the phone when she told me. So stoked!
