I was going to wait and app for this next year. But after seeing how I can use the points for an upcoming trip that will save me $600.

I figured why the heck not! I've already creamed my AAoA..well maybe a little. lol

It was an instant approval. That's 9 for 9(7 new CCs/ 2 CLI). Increased my TCL by $100,000 in a month.

Hit my other milestone, just broke the $700,000 barrier.

Now I wonder how long before the points show up after using the card once? Anyone have an idea?

I see where they pulled EQ. Not sure about any other CB.

TA088 was the only one I know to pull that one off or I would be all over it!

I put a charge on my Vuela right away and IIRC the (60K) points posted right after my 1st statement closed. In any case it wasn't long.

I had a couple of strange experiences with the card being denied right out of the gate and having to call them to resolve but after a couple of months things smoothed out.

Calling them wasn't bad either, no wait to get a live agent, and while their attitudes were more professional than friendly they were efficient.

Yeah I am WtW! Besides the trip, it probably won't be used much. I'll evaluate before the next AF hits and decide whether I'll cancel it.
I've got several places on my bucket list to visit in central and south America.
So in the end, it may have value. We shall see.😀

It wasn't a goal to get it up this high. I'll probably lose a little when I start canceling some cards in a couple of months. $300k more feels like trying to travel to the moon for me.😂

I'm not a baller like some of these guys. I guess in my part of Alabama, no one uses credit cards but me.🤣

Do you mind asking, what is the use of this card or it's points? Do they have lots of flights flying from your area? I live in Houston and the only south american countries i travelled so far is Mexico.
