Gap Store Card - Two Auto CLI's!!!

At the close of my July Statement, Gap FINALLY loosed the rope they had around my neck and gave me a little auto love. Went from $400 to $600. Then today I checked online to schedule my next payment and noticed they gave me another auto CLI! $600 to $1,400!! WOW! I'm totally shocked! Gap started me off with a measly $200 Credit Limti and did not budge for almost a year. I never thought I'd see the day I'd get past the $1,000 mark with them...lo! I use this card often because I shop their online store and use it at Piperlme MOST of the time. Love it!!

Thats great! Best of all about GAP, ON, AE, WAL MART. SAMS CLUB, AND TJ MAXX is that they get upgraded in to major card.

Thanks you guys!!!!! And BearsandTurtlesRthe Best.....Gap was a tough nut to crack so I am so excited for this CLI!! And YES I am hoping that someday I can get upgraded to the Visa version! Time will tell!!!

Congrats!!! I love my Gap card, started at 150, and now at 1400. I use the card heavily, on my kids clothes and now maternity . I can't wait until they offer the Visa card.

Does Gap HP if i asked for CLI?? My CL with them is 300 and I opened with themback in 09 and stopped using it from 2010 until now
i think i will use their cards to purchase their products

I also have an Express card with 850 CLI and i haven't used them since january 2011 I want to purchase someclothes from them to keep my account active and report to the credit bureaus but they are expensive for me to want to buy

Does store charge cards close for inactivity?

@mikey I say request that CLi NOW. Their CLI are SP, and yes usually any card that has no activity for a while will be closed. Good luck on that CLi.

Yes I have to agree all of them have been sp for all of my GE backed cards. Also for Express they will close your card for no activity.
