Ok, so I had to do one more app before returning to the garden. I didn’t intend to, but I just found out about this card and its very fitting to my lifestyle. Here is my experience:

I already have another Chase card, so I checked in my offers section and I had one for the CSR. I applied on Aug 21 and got the 7-10 day response. I called the automated line a few times over the several days and received the same response.

Finally, I called and spoke with a rep yesterday. She told me that app was still pending and that I would be getting a response in the mail in 7-10 days. At this point I figured I was SOL.

Today I received a snail mail letter stating that Chase wanted me to call the fraud dept for verification. I called, answered a few verification questions and then was approved for $32,200!

Data Points as follows:

They pulled EX (731 – exact score from my Experian credit monitoring) and TU (731 – this was my score the last time I had a 3-bureau report and score on Jul 30).

Income: 150K

overall util is 23% across 6 cards and a CLOC

AAoA is 7 years 10 months

no lates in the past year, but I have a string of 30 days+ lates on 2 installment loans before that (at least a dozen)

No more apps for a while!
