Had a Costco membership from August 2014 to August 2015, decided to renew it today and a few hours later decided to try for the credit card, and INSTANT APPROVED FOR $4000!!!!!! SOOOO EXCITED!

Credit Score around 690-700, 7 new credit cards in the past 12 months (The Costco Visa is the 8th) 21 inquiries on TU and 25 and Equifax (Don't know how many on Experian, probably around the same and not sure who Citi pulls) AAOA is 1 year and 7 months and 0 late payments and derogatory marks on my credit reports. 24 open accounts on my reports as well, 1 of which is an auto loan. And I got 24% utilization.

Congratulations, I really want this card since costco is where we buy groceries and I have 730, and only 5 HP I don't want to waste a HP on denied credit card my utilization is only 23% but that means 40k own

Congrats on the approval. I like mine. 4% overall with executive membership when shopping at Costco or Costco Online. It pays for the Costco membership for sure. The other good thing is that Citi CLI's are a soft pull and available every 6mo depending on your profile of course.
