Wells Fargo Propel Approval Sporting 21/24!! :-D

To make a long story a little shorter....I applied for this card during the hype back in July after first opening up a savings account with them and also anticipating them pulling my EX report and they instead threw me for a loop an actually wanted to pull my then on ice and badly bruised EQ report. Called in to see if they could pul EX instead with "no dice". So forwarding this experience to recently knowing that I had let that app expire. Opened up a checking account last week and decieded to give this one last kick at the can. Applied on Monday and went pending further verification. Got an immediate alert of a pull this time on my EX which made me a little bit more postive about my situation. Called in and they wanted verify addy, phone# , and DOB. Also sent verify text code. Rep said to give it 24-48 hours for a decision. All I coud do over the next 48 hours is say to myself" it's going to be denied" "too many recent accounts" lol! As all indications would have suggested. Fearing rejection found a number googling that would give me automated app status and called it. And to my suprise she said "congragulations you have been approved" SL $3,500 which I will certainly recon. This has to be one of my most shocking approvals yet, as ALL odds where against me. I have opened at least 21 new accounts in the last 2 years. Although 5 of them have been closed. 9 accounts opened this year alone. The 4 of opened in July are already reporting. My guess is definitely having banking relationship with these guys is crucial. Abliet short but at least having one makes the difference At least in my case. This absolutely willl be my last app for a very long time. It's just a nice feeling to pull this one in.

Yes, going for the immediate CL as soon as I can get my hands on the card. From what I have researched they should be able to use the same hp for the increase. Will certainly update.

Yea, I had a few fall off just recently so that might have spruced my report up for them just tiny bit I suppose. And I agree evrybody is so TU & EQ happy these days.

Just wanted update for those interested. Received my card in mail and activated it. Called WF to see about an increase on my $3,500 SL and was given the “no go” due to recent trade lines being opened and no experience yet with them. Rep was like it’s not a bad thing just something that didn’t quite work in my favor for the increase. Got the approval anyways so will be content with that.

Yeah Wells seems weird trying to get cli. They had no problems opening ghost accounts but heaven forbd YOU initiate a request lol. I have one card with them and im fine with that.

Lol! I’m beginning to see this with them. Curious, how many accounts can you have at one time with them? Is there a certain timeframe between apps/approvals?

Not sure but try churning them , cant be fun as they have a rule of 15 months i think lol.
