USBank Visa Infinite

A year ago, almost to the day, USBank didn't want to give me a secured auto loan for $15k.

Today, in the mail arrived a strange package from them. It was a pretty fancy box, made out of a thick cardboard covered with a black glossy sheen.

Inside was a new Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite card and a very nice note from the bank thanking me for applying. I had forgotten entirely that I did this as I hastily applied for the Business Platinum and meant to go for the FlexPerks to combine inquiries. One of these days I'll get that whole paying attention to detail thing right before it becomes a hassle afterwards to manage.

SL of $19,500. $400 annual fee but comes with $325 travel credits and a signing bonus worth up to $750, so I think I'll keep it.

Transunion pulled (one time for all the cards that day), FICO8: 728 0 Inquiries (I've been in the garden).

I am curious though if anyone else has a Visa Infinite card because it was honestly the first I had heard of them.

It is a pretty good card. I have been out of the country for over 6 months and it has done me very well. You have a better starting lmit than I do (17.5K for me). I definitely like more than my now defunct Barclay cards

That's a great care package to open in the mail... congrats to you on the huge SL. Sounds like the perks/credits more than make up for it with good use.

Nice job! You must have a relationship with USB. I have the Alt Reserve, have been with USB for 17 years now. I use it where I was using my AE Plat (now cancelled). Just used the TSA precheck feature, got a credit two days later. Enjoy!
