New York & Company - why did it do a hard pull

So I did the shopping trick and worked good for Victoria's secret no hard pull but then when I tried for New York and company I also got approved but it did a hard pull. This anyone know why and has it done it to anyone else

SCT is becoming a thing of the past.

You apply you most likely will get a HP these days.
