Ok, i wasnt gonna post this but i guess i gotta represent my LIErs club to the fullest. All these recent Navy success stories and big 25k limits, i just felt lonely without my baby Platinum that i cancelled awhile back ago after consolidating all my cards into my Cash Rewards.

Im supposed to be at max exposure, 16.8k on my low income. I anywho, i decided i really like to hsve my Plat back for sny smsll emergency, cash advsnce, or possible future bts so i let her rip about 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. Instant TU pull. Now you know apping on a weekend will lead to a longer wait. How awesome is Navy? Within a couple hours, on a Sunday, they texted me back, approved. 25k? 15K? 20? Lol, nope. I'm not AJC if i dont get my proper AJC Special $500! Who cares lol. I just broke my max exposure by $500 and i got 10.99% apr. Would have liked the lowest but that can be mine in a year. Scores have taken a beating as of late, believe i was anywhere from TU 719-742 lol. Oh got my card like in 3 days too. Navy rocks. Just glad to have the kid again, aint letting go this time

Wait, you missed it so much that you're ok with $500?! I'm confused. You scorn PenFed or Citi for not growing, but you're ok with the NFCU (AJC) special? 🎁🤦‍♂️😄😄😄

So, ummmm are you gonna combine it again with the other one?

Even though it's a $500 limit, you have the right attitude about it. It's $500 more than you had with them before you applied.

Try to move some money over from your other card. It would be like undoing what you felt was a mistake and it only took one hard pull to do so.

At the same time, now you have a CC you can use for internet purchases without the worry of astronomical fraudulent charges.

Lol, arent i a conundrum

In this case its ok because having this low limit card allows me to use it for small things. Plus, PF deserves my scorn lol. They gave me $500 on my Promise, i had to fight tooth and nail for a 1k hp cli increase after a year and they wouldnt nor wont give snymore after 2 years. Nsvy started me at $500 ,within 3 months i was increased to 5k and have been approved 4 cards, various increases,lower aprs after some time, transfering balances without hp, etc. How ive been treated with Navy is worth a $200 card compared to Pf. Citi, actually isnt too bad and im ok with my limits and i know that my overall exposure snd income hurt me more than anything but still would be nice to see any growth lol. My Discover AJC specials will slways hold $500 dear to me. Now, who needs me to bash some Chase?😋

I just applied for a navy card myself. I agree, I would take 500 over 0 any day!

$500 is better than $0 for sure but if I knew I was so high up in credit Navy would give me, I don’t think I would have wasted the HP lol.
