Capital One CLI attempt SUCCESS

Hey guys,

I wanted to share with you my attempt at getting a CLI with Capital One. It was super simple! Let me get into a little bit of background. I got the Capital One Visa Platinum card in Sep 2012 with a $500 CL. I always paid the bills on time and in full. They automatically increased it to $750 in March 2013. I never had any other card. I kept using it and paying it in full expecting them to automatically increase it again after 6-7 months. When it did not happen, I finally decided to ask for it.

My first step - Try it online through their website. Click on request credit limit increase -> You are eligible for a $500 increase in credit line = Me happy I didn't expect it to be, but it was that simple! Now I have a $1250 credit line, which I feel is a lot more usable than the $750 credit line. Also, I recently applied for the Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard which you can read about here.

I had luck going through the EO route. Not as much of a CLI as I was hoping for but they doubled by limit so I guess I can't complain.
