Woohoo! Target RedCard approval, SL $1000

This will likely be the last card I apply for for a bit until some of my new TLs start showing up on my report. DW and I shop at target more than I particularly like, and she's been using the debit version of the red card for some time. This will be MUCH nicer.

HP: EQ

FICO8: EQ-614 (Some reason the FICO8 model + EQ sucks for me)

AAoA: 5yr 4 Mos

Derog: 1 paid collection ( I hate VZQ ) less than 12 months ago, 2 late payments 4 yrs ago on an AU card.

Utilization: 58%

Congrats! That’s actually a pretty healthy SL since the majority seem to start at the $300 point. Use it and make payments and it’ll grow for sure.

Congrats on the approval! If you can, bring down your UTI as your hitting 3 thresholds which is hitting your scores for 30-60 points.

Working on it... most of it is my wife's card i'm an AU on, and its killing me (not pictured in my sig). These new accounts I've opened are brining that util number down. Soon and very soon, i'll be below 10%

Me too. None of my new TLs have posted yet... so I could have probably waited, gardened a bit, and done better, but instead time to just use it a little and plan a CLI strategy.

CLIs on this card can’t be initiated by you - the bank will up your limit if and when they see fit. I was stuck for 3 years at $300. I used it often. Suddenly a couple years ago I got a bump to $700, and from there on I’ve gotten regular increased, 2-3x a year. I use the hell out of it, carry balances, make solid payments above the minimum and they keep adding. I’m at $2900 now.
