So... Am new to forum, been browsing for a week. Already learned a lot but tend to ramble, be aware. App'd for BoA Cash Rewards instant deny you will receive letter etc. Called every # for BoA I could find on here... 1st lady says no to recon, 2nd time guy can't even locate my app, 3-5 transfer me to "application line", which tells me to go online and hangs up. After 5th call gave up, wouldn't even give me a human anymore. App'd for both Fidelity Visa Sig AND US bank cash+ before learning they share underwriters, both denied then called in to check, was told "will be submitted to underwriters for review," 7-10 days. Called later, cash+ approved, 2.5k.
Fidelity calls, "location doesn't match, strange email address" etc. Resubmits to underwriters. Called later, approved, 2.5k! *whew*
Thought sure denial. And last but not least, cold-called Citizens to app for cash back plus world MC. Rep does pull, app'd for 9.7K!! Double-checked cuz thought he said
5K. Now waiting on cards...

Congrats on the approvals. Denials generally mean it's time to sit back and garden. It'll help grow your current accounts and also get some CLIs as well.
