Bank of America Travel Rewards Card - Approved - 12k SL

I applied about 6 months ago with a 675 and was declined. Tried again about 10 days ago now that my credit is in much better shape ..I have about a 715 on Equifax which they pulled. I got the message that it was in review.

I finally decided to call yesterday and she informed me that my app was already in 'approval' mode they just needed to verify my Identity. I was happy to hear her say I was getting a 12k SL. That's my highest to date and love that I can now build my relationship with BofA. I have recently shifted all of my checking/savings accounts to them as well.

I have 1% utilization on my cards and a few inquiries and a few older than 2 years 30/60 day lates.

Congrats for the nice SL! Do you have any other account(s) with them before? I had checking and saving but closed it on 2013 or 2014 when I switched everything to NFCU. However, I opened a RV loan with them in 2016 and paying faster than original installament plan. I received two online offers BankofAmeriCard and the Travel Card ($95 annual). Do you think I have a greater chance to be approved? Thanks!

By the way I was denied today after boa lured me to apply by sending me message on my online boa account and my email. Oh well.

Hi, it is just a generic message and they will send me a letter. Maybe I should wait until my 6 of my hps expired and try again. Probably i could call them if they allow me to call.
