Metal in My Wallet: Cap1 Savor

I have two bucketed Cap1 cards & have thought of dumping them altogether. That, or get a decent limit card & roll the other CL into it. Of course after I apped Cap1 stopped combining CCs. lol

Apped online & took about a week to approve -- 5K SL -- and another week + for card to arrive.

What's appeals to me about this card:

$300 SUB on 3k spend in 90 days;

4% CB on restaurants;

Metal in my wallet!

DPs:

Three HPs: EX 721; TU 744; EQ 740

Income: 95k

Lol/24;

40 Inq across 3 bureaus;

Limited spend with other two Cap1 cards.

Nope, depends on what offer you get now when you apply. $500 is the rare one now and CapOne keeps changing the public offer. Right now it's listed as $400.

Thanks for the correction @Saeren.

When putting the OP together I double checked Cap1 site to make sure I had it right @ $500 but saw it listed @ $300 and assumed I had it wrong (even though I had marked $500 in my Excel spreadsheet). Good to know I've got that extra $200 coming my way.

I guess they’re just pulling a Chase and changing the offers? I refreshed it a few times and it stayed $500 🤷‍♂️

The early adopters when the card got the makeover got the plastic version, new applicants are getting the metal version.

Congrats on the approval @Anonymous. Not sure why if it's metal or plastic makes such a difference @kugel - Doesn't really matter does if it's plastic or metal. Some users have gotten a "metal" card, while others have a plastic. At the end of the day, it's still a card.
