AmEx CLI FINALLY!

Got my BCE in September. SL 1k. Tried for a 3x CLI at 61 days...denied! Tried again in February...denied! Approved for the Bonvoy Business earlier this week w/ a SL of 3k. Got an email just now that my BCE limit has been increased to 1.5k. Not a very big increase but it's something! I guess the 2nd card approval triggered a review and they decided to throw me a bone! Yay!

Congrats on the increase!

Can you share some data points with us?

I.E. utilization on your AMEX vs aggregate UTI, AAoA, AofYA, hard pulls, etc.

OP—Congratulations! Both on your new card and CLI! Enjoy your BCE, I enjoyed mine and when my year-end summary came in I saw I could upgrade and still profit, so I’m now BCP. Amex has been great for me so far, hope your experiences are the same!

I'm considering upgrading to the BCP once the Walmart here starts doing grocery pickup. I've read that the Walmart grocery app codes as grocery rather than superstore like it does in store so I'll be using my BCE more often. No upgrade offers yet but the BCP does show as pre-approved so I'm wondering if I call in if they will upgrade it. Otherwise I suppose I can just open a seperate BCP and hope for a better SL. Not sure what I'm going to do yet but I have a couple of months to think about it I guess.
