Chase Marriott Bonvoy Approval

Pulled the trigger after being in the garden for 20+ months. Have 3 HP's, with two falling off next month. Looks like this app took only one HP to Experian (FICO 818). I confirmed 9 ways that I am eligible for the 100K bonus after $5K spend and having the Ritz card does not make me ineligible like it does with the Amex version. Decent CL (Just under my Ritz but above my United so right in the middle) and will probably meet the spend by end of April as taking a trip to Europe for business that I am also taking family with me.

Interest rate is kinda high, but then again, been close to 2 years and guess rates are up, so guess that is on the lower end when I read the offer details actually.

Well done! That's a great SL and thanks for the DP that having the Ritz card previously doesn't disqualify you for the SUB on the Marriott Bonvoy card.

Unfortunately, I already have the card (Marriott Rewards VISA) as well as the Ritz VISA and the AMEX SPG Luxury cards, so no SUB bonuses for me!

I was looking more for something around $40K as I have a Cap1 Venture at $48K, a Barclary Arrival+ at $48K, a PenFed Visa at $50K etc etc. But when I look at my Chase portfolio, that $30K is right in the middle and I know from experience and what I have read from others here, that CLI's from Chase are a rarity.

I have a link in my Chase account and it says "Because you are a Chase customer, just provide the information below and get a decision in seconds!"... does that mean I am pre-approved? Also, you put your EX Fico score above, do you know if that is who they pull from for this card?

That sounds like it, but I applied cold w/o an invite. For me, in Northern Virginia, that is who they pulled. That may differ based on your locale though. But pretty sure it is either EX or EQ, never had Chase pull from TU.
