Amex BCE - Blacklisted to Approved!!!

Back in 2016 I apped for an Amex and got a "your account was cancelled" aka Blacklisted! They won't HP you instant denial. For the past 3 years I have been receiving offers every month. Every month they go to the trash bin.

Now for the past 4 months my CK offers are Amex Cards again! The other day I came a cross a blog about being part of the amex blacklist and how people find loops holes and what not to get back in.. I said what the heck they won't Hp me anyway.

I appped and got instant approval $2k! a bit low BUT very happy im now back in with Amex.

Waited a week to get the card just in case it was caught and rescinded approval before posting. Not. As of today and card reads member since 200x. Still keeping fingers crossed though.

Congrats and take it slow with everything. Amex and I had a love hate relationship going back almost 40 years. About 15 years ago they declined all my purchases. I complained they would fix and then do it again. I cancelled my card. Last year or so I starting getting mail pieces and finally applied. I was approved for $1K very low. Card said member since 2017. At 60 days I raised the cl to $2K. At 180 days they auto cli to $6K and then I put in for another $1 K cli on my own. at the 180 day mark they sent me a new card that has a much older date but not my oldest date.

How long have you been on the blacklist?

Im going now on i dont know, 8 years or so, maybe longer. I cannot remember when i defaulted them.
