Costco citi approval and discover CLI

So my credit is not the best, I have 60 day late and 30 day late in the last year(8 months ago). So my score is around 650 to 660, and I also have a charge off from 5 years ago. Also my util is 18% and highest line is 1000 dlr cl. So I applied for this Costco card since I shop at Costco every Time I get paid and honestly not expecting an approval. I get an email telling me to wait 7 to 10 days here’s the weird part the app was not even done processing my review and a few seconds later I’m approved for 6,500 dollars. I was expecting much less, anyways hopefully this helps anyone looking to apply for that card also got my first discover cli of 400 dollars, so not to bad overall.

I'm getting very tempted to apply. Ex FICO 8 is 681. Tu I'm not sure it was 671 but just got uber Visa and PayPal Mastercard .

So I think you have a good chance because your scores higher than mines, and I also have opened cards in the last three months. They pulled Experian fico and I have about 8 inquiry’s in last year.

Although I do feel I’ve been pretty lucky with approvals, I was approved for disco back in October with a 623 fico. if I remember correctly I think I only had cap one showing with 500 cL. From what I hear on the forums I’m one of the lucky ones I guess. I don’t know but sometimes I feel lucky and apply and the banks approve. Although it’s proubly not luck lol.

Ok so I just checked Experian , my exact score on that day was 667 for fico 8 credit card score and I actually had 16 inquiries showing I guess that’s for two yrs I’m not sure on that one. So I hope this helps in your decision to apply, good luck.

Do you already have a relationship with Citi? Curious because I am interested in this card. I have a debt with them from 2013 that they inherited when they took over C1's Bestbuy portfolio.
