Dog was in need of some dental surgery, quoted around $1400, but unfortunately no payment plan options so the promotional financing through CareCredit was my best option.

Approved on April 22nd with a $4,000 SL
Pulled TU with FICO8: 679

Always see everyone here saying to not be shy with your CLI request so I went for it not expecting much over the SL.

Credit Line Increase Approved April 30th, asked for $10,000 and got $12,000!
TU FICO8 currently at 684

Over the moon right now, hopefully with this credit limit increase the procedure won't hurt my overall utilzation that much as it'll bring my total credit from $16,500 to $24,500. It's a family pet so I won't be the only one paying off this balance, plan to pay it off in 6 months as a conservative estimate.

Background Info:

Since December of last year I've working on paying down balances to improve my score. Started with a Experian FICO8 of 599 December 2nd and I'm at a 657 right now. Overall Reported Balance of $3,841/4700 Dec 6th to now $2,404/16,500 (includes the CareCredit SL) but have about $400 in payments that haven't been reported yet, progress! Hoping to be completely paid by the end of November.

Not including CareCredit I've had 5 new accounts since the start of the year that I opened to help with overall utilization (added $6,500 available, I know not great) and had CLIs on other accounts totaling $1,700 and closed a CreditOne account that had a $400 limit. Didn't plan on opening any more but needed to for the surgery so with this CareCredit account now being the 6th new account this year I am officially in the garden for at least 2 years.

Surgery went well and she's doing great! Only came out to about $860 so the good news got even better!
