Discover CLI!!

I just got an email a couple of minutes ago stating that my CL has been increased to $1700 from $500 on my Discover IT Student Cashback card. I really didn't expect this because I've only had to card for about 5 1/2 months, so I'm very exicted! Never thought I'd get a CLI from iscover because I somtimes don't PIF every month but I do make payments on time and pay more than the minimum amount. I was going to pay the $300 balance on there in full this month, but I'm tempted to buy some room decor or a new tv with this increase...decisions...decisions...

OP, time to go for the DDD! Many people report that after receiving an auto-CLI from Discover that they're able to "Double Dip" and get more if they ask. This can be done over the phone or online via SP. I've only done it online, with instant success. Many times when you receive an auto-CLI you are only given a portion of what is "available" to you on your account at that moment, but you are able to request and receive the rest if you'd like.

If I were you I'd go for the DDD and see what happens.

Congrats!!! That's a very nice increase. I've gotten three CLI from $500, and I'm STILL not at $1700 lol.

If you call for your double dip, here's the direct number: 800-347-4856 (CLI Specialist)

Or you can try online, but definitely try!
