Gap store card upgraded to Visa version

logged on to my gap account to make sure i have no balance to pay. then i checked to see when my coupons expired. when i went to the Rewards and Benefits menu.....there it was, the "upgrade now" option. clicked on it and it gave me the upgrade process screen. the best part about it is i got a cli from $1.4k to $2.5. and the créme de la créme....got a sign up bonus $50 gap rewards if i use the card within 30 days to make 1 non Gap purchase.

i think my first purchase will be for a pack of gum the card will get enough use when DW finds out about the $50 gap rewards just waiting to be used along with 3 other coupons that she hasn't used yet

Just wondering (since I also have the Gap store card), how long have you had the card? What has your usage been like on it? At this point, just trying to figure out what works with GE!

i've had my card for about 2 years. i usually run a couple of hundred dollars on it every 5-6 or so months on it. sometimes pay in full, and some times i pay over 2-3 months but always way more than the minimum.
