Got approved this morning for the no AF card using the 100k sub floating on the web. Gave me a SL $10500. Already have the everyday card cl of 30k.Phone reps don't know if it was a sp.Called twice.
DP: 17 yrs credit history. Have 10 cards now.Fico 817 clean credit

Congrats!! I have been thinking about this or the Ascend card lately myself. As one of the other members pointed out your subsequent cards from Amex are usually given via a SP but in your case it sounds like you got the higher SUB via a link outside the Amex website so I'm interested to know if it ends up being a HP even though you are already an Amex customer. Keep us informed!
