Lowes/Synch. TWO CLI from 1K to 17K!

Couple weeks ago I went on a spree, went 2/4.

Lowes approved for 1K, wasn't super happy about low SL.

So I called in to credit services about 5 days later and requested 10K, Instantly approved, was feeling good about that.

Then was thinking about the new washer/dryer I wanted to put on 12m. 0% int, ( It will be paid off in 6 months or less)

So I started to think about utilization, want to stay under 20%.

So I called back 3 days after the 9K increase and I requested another 10K, for a Total of 20K.

After a few minutes, he countered with 7K, for a total of 17K!!!

Not bad, Two CLI's within a WEEK! 1K to 10K, up to 17K!!

pulled TU

740 TU fico 8 is what their letter said.

Now would I upset Synch. if I were to apply for Walmart Card?

Persistence comes through for you when dealing with certain Synchrony Bank cards especially.

Nice effort and the eagerness made for nice results.

Also i hardly doubt any problems with the current account should you try for Walmart.

I applied for CareCredit, Amazon Store Card & Walmart on the same day. All were instant approvals. As always ymmv

Grats on the new CL. I would recommend you wait till this card passes at least 3 months before going for the WM
