Penfed CC -EDIT _ APPROVED!

So I joined penfed yesterday night and applied for a pathfinder cc this morning. After I hit submit it said Loan Officer needs too review.. some 10-24 hours.

Also I thought Penfed used same credit report when used to join?? It pulled a second for the cc application..? Any ideas?

Scores 760+ across the board

Reports clean.

Edit: Approved! 10k limit

Congrats! Maybe call to see if they can merge the HP's? Not sure if this is even possible, most likely the two pulls will stay. But great limit so I wouldn't even be mad

Same thing happened to me @Meanmchine!

I applied for a PenFed membership on March 28th (1st HP) and applied for the Power Cash Rewards VS card at the same time (2nd HP).

My app was denied for the card with a EQ FICO8 723 score and ZERO Inquiries in the prior 12 months!

Congrats yes they double pulling me also when I applied for auto refinance was approved for the refinace but was denied the card

I noticed that it always seems like the CU's really like looking at credit reports. Every single one always double HP's me too.

Anyways having 10k in credit never hurts so congratulations on that.

Yep 2 HPs sadly have become the norm now at PenFed. Used to be one HP that was good for 90 days. Those days sadly are gone. Good card though I have enjoyed it a lot I’m sure you will as well. Just don’t count on a CLI for awhile PenFed has changed a lot.
