Home Depot Approval!

My first card through Citi. SL is $500.

Experian pulled for inquiry.

Experian is a 647.

Any suggestions on how to raise the limit?

Congrats on the in with Citi @rndbroom! I've never had this one so wouldn't know about limit questions, but I'm sure someone will chime in soon. Usualy its to the tune of "I'm making a large purchase worth $X,XXX, what would I need to do to get an increase to cover it?" - or am I confusing that with the Lowes card?

I know one of these will dish it out as long as you phone 'em up and ask. Good Luck!

I know Lowes will do that, but not sure about Home Depot. Maybe, someone else will weigh in.

Congrats on the approval!! I don't know about getting an increase right away, hopefully someone can answer that for you. Otherwise you might need to be the guinea pig 😉

There are some who called in and were able to raise it immediately. And there are others like me who are still at $500 after 13 years, and said screw Citi and got much bigger Lowe’s card limits.

You should have called RIGHT AWAY I called while I was in the store at HD went from 500 to 5k in seconds!!!

They did ask my reasoning for asking for a CLI but I just explained we need a riding lawn mower lol and a fridge and 500 wouldn't cut it.....more politely of course
