PFFCU Approval

So I have been laid up in the hospital, and then at home,

with pneumonia and have not been able to enjoy my

credit hobby.I recieved a snail mail offer from

Police and Fire Federal Credit Union today.

I joined about 4 months ago. I filled out the app

about 7:30 this morning.

on their website and got a response back a little after 9:00

Asked for 15K and that's what they gave me.

I missed a call from a rep. He wanted to give me a PLOC.

Might call him back. Was a targeted APR of 11.15%

9 monthe intrest free. Was a platinum rewards visa.

No docs required beyond DocuSign. They really

seem like a nice CU.

They pull Experian

My score was 751

29 Ex hard pulls last two years

AAoA 14-15 months

AoOA 13 years

6% dti

much credit added recently

so they are not adverse to credit seeking.

390K total trade lines

Still not feeling well so gonna wrap this up.

Just an FYI to my fellow MyFicoers,

this credit union has about 1,000 ways to join.

Including just being a member of the

American Consumer Council.

There is a very long list on their webpage :-)

Thanks for the congrats @brit585...it has been four months since

I applied for membership,but if memory serves me

I only had to open up a checking account or a

savings account....$5.00 I believe.

Please call and ask though as I don't want

a HP on my concience :-) I'm notat 100%

and do not want to give bad advice.

My usual MO with credit unions though

is to drop a sum of $$$ in them and see what

they offer. Callis free :-)
